Not very much, but I don't like his voice/style of music. I have only heard the praise of it and gave it a quick listen.

This is fantastic, seriously amazing album. Been listening to these guys a lot recently and I think this is my favourite Bright Eyes album. I haven't fully decided yet though.

well, agree with kritikalmotion, some good songs (especially Poison Oak is amazing), but all in all not satisfying and definitely not on a par with much other similar stuff, like The Decemberists, Sun Kil Moon, Okkervil River and so on.
and sadly Digital Ash is even worse

The only thing Bright Eyes sounds like is Dylan because from day one that is who he has always tried to sound like.

i don't think he TRIED to sound like him at all, and if he did, he failed miserably. Lyrically is really the only comparison with Dylan

it's totally a lyrics thing. try checking out Lifted... it has a more varied and triumphant sound to it.
