Is this album better than Catch For Us the Foxes? How do they compare?

I'm thinking of getting that one, but this is not my usual music and I'm not sure if it would be worth it.

Grew, bumped to 4. If that is the case I might get Foxes. This Message Edited On 12.11.08

All I can say is WOW...WOW. This album is breath taking. I did not expect it to be that good. Their style is so unique, I love it.

I like Catch For Us The Foxes more tbh, some of the softer moments of this album annoy me.

I am in love with this album and i really shouldn't be. It is poetic and elegant, yet simple and earthy, but most importantly, overwhelmingly positive. As an athiest, i find it hard to listen to, let alone take seriously anything said by someone who believes in unfounded mythology and make-believe, and ignores overwhelming facts, however his message is profound and universal.

It is testiment to the fact that it does not take knowledge to be wise, yet it does not take the fear of god to understand morals and have spirituality.

Exactly, well put. Im the same with my favourite band, Underoath

Often 'God' can be interpreted as a metaphor for a number of things; hope, salvation etc, or in many cases a period of soliloquy or reflection. Eg; ''Oh God, what have i done?'' if religious, would be interpreted as a direct question to god (which one of the 1400 is a personal choice). However if atheist or agnostic, it can be interpreted as a soliloquy when the protanonist is questioning themselves, perhaps even taking the name of 'god' in vain, eg; ''Oh God! This album is good!'' lolz
