Ten Stories is excellent. I really love this new sort of baroque poppy indie rock that they're exploring right now. Saw them a couple of weeks ago and the two songs they played from Pale Horses (Magic Lantern Days and Blue Hen) sound like they're continuing in that direction.

sowing lol. i enjoy ten stories well enough, i just think there are a handful of songs that flat-out suck, like cardiff giant, elephant in the dock, nine stories, fiji mermaid, etc. bear's vision does pretty much nothing for me, despite everyone raving about it. i love fox's dream and grist though. this album is just way more dynamic, emotional, beautiful.
