Think this is the first time I've taken Downer's advice on an album, since I never really thought much of his reviews. Holy fuck did this pay off.
brb, backpeddling on every one of his recs

I have Kirilian Selections which I'm quite fond of, when the mood strikes me. This is 5 bucks on his bandcamp page so after listening to someone's youtube list of this album and reading all these rave reviews here I feel like it would be wrong of me not to buy this.

I don´t know. Personally, I go with Kirlian Selections, I think. But to ne honest, I did not listen to the recent albums to the same extent as I did to the earlier stuff back in the day.
Random information, if you wanna know: Stendeck has released a new album recently.

yeah, I'd take Kirlian Selections over this q easily. still gotta peep Arboreal and maybe a few others, but that one has easily been his most rewarding so far. any rouge picks that i might skip on otherwise?
that is indeed a random update lol ta

Yes, sure. At least for me personally, Flexing Habitual is essential. Especially since you dig K.S. so much since this is also on the heavier, beat-driven side. Try the song "Stretch Industry" maybe.

i just think it's his most fleshed out. a good middle ground between his earlier idm stuff and his later more live instrumentation electronic

i personally think Piety of Ashes is his best since this, but it definitely feels like a Soundtrack pt.2. other than that, Arboreal, Love As, and Nothing is Real are all hard 4s. everything else is 3.5
