That was probably my favorite part of the whole album. Plus, the chorus is ultra catchy and melodic.

ive been listening to Rise Against since the first cd and i have to say i was very happy with this cd. Not a really bad song on this one. I was impressed with the acoustic/softer side on "swing life away". Give it all, even though its a single, is still my favorite off the album. Good Review too.This Message Edited On 09.12.05

I don't know I serously can not get into that song I've listened to it a lot to and it doesn't grow on me at all.

Great album, I prefer RPM and Unraveling but close behind. My favoirite songs on this album would be Paper Wings, Tip The Scales and Give It All. I just can't wait for another Rise Against album

yo, good review. the only thing i dissagree with is swing life away. its nice and mellow but his voice dosent soud good with that soft acoustic guitar. the lyrics are good in that song, but nothing to rave about. id only give swing life away 3/5. the whole album, however, i loved and would get a 4.5/5

i liked the review, but the thing is i've heard a lot about these guys but i don't know what kind of music it is. i couldn't really get much out of this review either, or at least as far as that went. anything?

This cd had more of an instant gratification thing for me, where as RPM had to grow on me a fair amount. This is a stellar album tho.
And as for genre. Punk. I've heard some say that it falls into hardcore more tho. I tend to disagree.

they have 3 albums, did you hear RPM? or was it the unraveling that you didnt hear? which ever one you missed, i highly recommend that you listen to it. everything rise against has ever done is worthy of being called a classicThis Message Edited On 03.05.06

I went to see them and the peep in front of me gave a weird look when i sang the whole SWING LIFE AWAY song with ma mate.
