I actually read your comment as ‘respected’ but it works either way

A track titled "I was a prisoner in your skull" is enough to warrant commitment to a psych ward alone

Darius - it is from Jarboe’s father, it’s a recording made during his time as an FBI agent. The audio samples come from a collection found after his death, as well as Gira’s own collection. I wish we could hear the full tape of that though, the guys manner of speaking is so strange and what he’s saying so weird, it really draws you in.

Hahaha I definitely felt the same after my first listen! Second disc felt like complete overload. YRP is easily one of the best tracks here though, and there are a couple of other highlights

The Sound and The Final Sacrifice are on the 2ND, so

Second disc is less consistent, but it still has some amazing songs (The Sound, Enmpathy, YRP). Also, the ridiculous length here is sort of the point, I guess.

I'll admit that listening to the first disc of this album while shopping sleep deprived in an Aldi was a unqiue experience
