Randomly came across this again today. Pretty much every song hits, I have no clue why the rating is so low. No way this is worse than the mess that was In The Wake of Determination.



Choose Your Fate, The Antidote, Tell Me, Welcome to Our New War... even Cannonball I find massively underrated (even if the chorus is a bit mid). Was always a fan of heavier Story of The Year and this scratches the itch perfectly. Some songs do end up blending together but there's no song here I actively skip.

This is as good as Story of the Year gets. The end of "Angel In The Swamp" and the entirety of "Welcome To Our New War" shows their progression musically without a doubt. Even In The Wake Of Determination showcased this.



Always thought the band shined when they added heavier elements, and Cannonball is probably their most underrated song.



Page Avenue is great, but more nostalgia purposes for me is what makes it that. When I listen to that album, sometimes I say to myself "Damn, cannot believe I actually liked this."
