Reminded me kind of Alter Bridge, except less interesting. [2]

His voice starts to grate on my nerves after a while.

Released their new single today and dear God it's awful. I'm sorry, but it's just plain bad in every way. Was really hoping for better, considering how much they had been improving with "Us and Them" and "Sound of Madness," but it's hands down the worst song they've ever made.

Appears the video I was watching literally got taken down as I was viewing it, which is a little odd. They release it officialy at midnight EST tonight and I believe you can buy it or at least preview it on Amazon. I wouldn't waste a penny on it though, it's horribly childish, 'specially considering how much maturity used to be one of their strongest assets. If I find a link that hasn't been taken down, I'll let ya know. I honestly couldn't listen past the 1:30 mark. Back to Devin Townsend for now!

I saw this CD in my trash can, a couple of days ago. Don't feel like digging it out since there is leftover guacamole all over it.

"the actual song isn't terrible but the lyrics..um, yeah"

Ahaha, yeah, they posted them on their Facebook a few days before they released the song, and I nearly retched. The solo's pretty good, but the rest...I'd agree with ties, generally awful.

"ALL YOU’LL EVER BE IS THE FADING MEMORY OF A BULLY

MAKE ANOTHER JOKE WHILE THEY HANG ANOTHER ROPE SO LONELY

PUSH THEM TO THE DIRT TILL THE WORDS DON’T HURT CAN YOU HEAR ME

NO ONES GONNA CRY ON THE VERY DAY YOU DIE YOU’RE A BULLY"

^Lyrics they posted. Goddamn. What happened to songs like Lady so Divine? Sound of Madness? Crow & The Butterfly? Safe to say this album won't be on my to-buy list this year...

It did when I was 20. But the 20 year old me had the musical maturity of a 13 year old.

So bland and mainstream it gives 3 Doors Down and Nickelback runs for their money.
