Naww 3 cheers is better than the black parade. Yeah the music isn't as polished, but personally I thought that was what was so good about them to begin with.

I'm not really a fan, but the black parade was much better. Even if they did rip off a hundred bands.

I don't think either record is better than the other. I just think they're different and they both have their positives and negatives. I will say I love My Chemical Romance though, and I'm highly anticipating their next record.

Black Parade is better tbh, though it did rip off a ton of bands, it was more refined and polished than Three Cheers. This is great fun to listen to sometimes though. This Message Edited On 02.25.09

One of the songs on here is kinda funny. It has a western intro then he screams and it goes all crazy. I liked that one, but yeah TBP was way more solid and diverse.

Well said WhiteTieBlackJacket. While I still think 'The Black Parade' is better, pretty much everything you said is spot on. I suppose it is a little under-estimated that at least MCR haven't released the same album over & over.

Hey143, I actually think both of their last 2 albums are fun to listen to, but in different ways. I didn't like their debut all that much (see my review of that if you like).

Croc, the song you are thinking of is 'Hang Em High'. And yeah, 'TBP' was definitely more diverse. No doubt about that in my opinion. This Message Edited On 02.25.09

Careful Ryan, it's written in Sputnik law that you cannot upset Sir John Hanson.

EasternLight, there are varying reports as to when their next album will be released. From what I have heard, some songs are already finished. My guess is that it won't be out until about March 2010, but who knows.

Mordecai, they're energetic & fun to see live, but not exactly the most technical & tight band out there. Look at the positives, if they suck, you'll have 5 other bands to head to.

You're welcome, but what does Norway's most famous pop group have to do with MCR? ;-)

Speaking of those wacky Norwegians, I think I remember reading that they have just broken up!!! Yep, they were actually still together.

A-Ha are finishing their world tour then splitting. And they didn't even come to Australia (tear)

They could have packed the Oxford Arts Factory and the Northcote Social Club!

Your knowledge of small venues in cities other than your own gets an A+ DavID. Although I think A-Ha may have gone for a theatre show & been able to fill it with the help of some other 80s icon.
