Why would I want to see more irrelevant nonsense,
Good question, why would you want to see more irrelevant nonsense by making a comment about it and thus starting a whole string of irrelevant exchanges?

I don't know what his obsession is I assume it's because nobody notices him or talks to him but me.
Why do you like this more than TBP though? Just curious.

the black parade is pretension. it's like they try to make a rock opera album and it fails. this album was at least somewhat fresh with some new ideas/sounds. but TBP is basically a melting pot of ideas previously used. hope that makes sense. i haven't slept in 2 days

^Ha I have chronic insomnia so trust me I know what you mean.
I see what you're saying but that's what makes it fun for me. It is pretension but it's self aware and humorously done. And I love the black humor although I guess that's here too.
My only issue with TBP is that some of the songs are forgettable. But the strong ones are unforgettable.

i do love Teenagers but that's probably cause it reminds me of this album. most people seem to prefer TBP so that's cool i guess

The fact is MCR appeals to people who like good vocal melodies in their music, and for that, this album and TBP are pretty good imo.

Well, this is an interesting back & forth I have returned to. Haha.
It definitely does seem that even people who don't like this album very much have their favorites. As I stated, mine is 'Thank You For The Venom', but it seems that 'Hang Em High' has heaps of fans and 'You Know What They Do...' also does. That latter song never caught my intention at all on initial listens, but eventually I realized it had some of the best guitar parts of the LP.
Moving along to the MCR fans, well I can definitely say that going to their concerts is a visual experience... And I'm not talking about what's on the stage with that comment! It's one of the rare times where I'm glad to leave the mosh pit alone. Oh well, to each their own I suppose.
As for 'The Black Parade' discussion, I will personally leave that until Monday because you just know that I'm completing the triple. Let us chat about it then, shall we.

It was a 4.5 for me originally. But it's worn off.
The Black Parade is still a fucking opus, though.

Completely agree. I think that TBP is a classic.

For some reason, I love bashing the shit out of cars in Burnout to "I'm not Okay (I Promise)".
And the thrill of having a sudden crash match the lyrics so well is wonderful.
I'm never gonna buy this album, though. It's too low on my priority list.
