I'm just not a big fan of this overly abrasive wall of static/sound type black metal at all, I prefer stuff with more melody I guess :P

Yeah Darkspace just nails that dense atmospheric sound that I love about BM. Only heard Darkspace I in full though TBH, though I have plans to work through it all chronologically now.

I'd much rather just listen to Obsidian Gate's The Nightspectral Voyage or Sirius' Aeons of Magick.
