i didn't like their newest 2 cds all that much but that had nothing really to do with their popularity. i still love select songs from all their albums.

IMO, this is Rise Against at their best. I like Sufferer a lot but this beats everything. Lack of individually memorable songs? I think not ^^. Life less frightening, dancing for rain, tip the scales are probably (if not) my favourite songs of RA.

I partially regret that comment now (I wrote this review long ago), but I stand by it when compared to 'Sufferer'. I'd probably have 4 songs off of 'Sufferer' ahead of the best here (which is 'Swing Life Away' imo).
