they change your entire approach to how you scream, when you have them there you actually use them a bit to pinch your throat in certain ways depending on how exactly you scream.
i guess his tonsils were more of a factor in his screaming than he thought they were, i read in a revolver somewhere that he tried doing his old vocals during the recording of this album and had to quickly find another way to deliver the vocals cause he said they sounded horrible
not that his new vocals sound any better but...

yeah but my sources told me that he did indeed get his tonsils out, but then they said the real thing that affected his voice was the popped blood vessel, i mean my sources might be wrong but thats what they said

see everyone said the same thing about the guy from avenged sevenfold and his voice, i dont actually know what his deal is but i know that matt did have his tonsils removed and that would probably do it for your voice
i haven't heard anything about him popping a blood vessel but whatever

Matt Tuck had a tonsillectomy when he was recording the album. He didn't pop a blood vessel screaming. The album would've been better but he had to learn how to sing all over again and that's why he didn't sound the way he did on "The Poison."

Honestly, sometimes, I think he sings through his nose, and lip syncs to his nostril singing to make it look right.
