I suppose I should have typed, "they will not make another album of the quality of () or Agaetis." I am all for evolution, experimentation, even deviation of sound... but I would like the quality of the art to either remain consistent with or surpass their older work.

Yeah I'm still going to review this, but I'm gonna wait till closer to the release date so I actually feel like it sunk in instead of trying to get it out before everyone else. Yeah, I have noticed that the reviews that get cranked out quickly after a stream comes out are either really prasing or really negative (or Tribestos' crap)

it's more fresh than their other stuff, i can imagine it being something to bring people back to sigur ros, probably.

Classic shouldn't be used for a while, but it is pretty fucking stellar. Eventually maybe a five, but it's safer to call it a 4-4.5 for now.

I wasn't trying to do that, just so you know. This has been streaming since June 8 and I started working on the review that day. I edited this and worked on it a fair bit over the past week, just to get it right. I finished it around midnight last night. I was actually surprised no-one else had put their two cents in, as most of the community were quick to pounce on Viva and even Indestructible.
Anyway, thank you all for taking the time to read this. I'll add a link to the streams now.

No jab intended, Jom! I loved your Disturbed review. A bunch of other people tried reviewing it as well, but couldn't come close.

To bringonthebreakdown,
Definitely. However, to this day, no other song rivals "Untitled 1" as the most immense and beautiful songs ever.

I'm really surprised at all the praise. I've listened to it twice and I found it boring as shit both times. I don't think I want to listen to it again.

My thoughts exactly, twice ran through for me.
But I've never been a huge fan like I said. Though this is even more boring.

BOO! i've only listened to about half of this but so far it is FAR from boring

I'm with bread on this one. but i've never been a big sigur ros fan in the first place.

I think I might review this too. While the first half is really strong, I can't really say that about the second half. The last four songs are nearly indistinguishable from each other and don't really do anything different from their older stuff. That's why I loved the first half; not only did it do something different (like being really upbeat), but it did this so well.
I still love this though. A strong 3.5 or 4 it gets from me...so far.
