I'm listening to this for the first time right now. First impressions: like the riffs and melodies, and the drums don't really bother me but the songs seem to all get boring before they're over.

Masterfully created. Absolutely love it while I'm usually not into this type of music. I find myself coming back and again to The Fecal Rebellion if only for the layered perfection of about 5 minutes in (believe it's a violin?).

Incredible album. The drums are actually more realistic than most programming, it's seamless despite some really fast parts, it's pretty believable. The cleaner vocals are just...haunting, everything about this CD is incredible.
Hard to say where I like this or Dust more, both are so great.

Gave this another listen yesterday and upped my rating back to a 4.5....as well as moved this way up my list of top albums of 2008, to where it was at the beginning of the summer. I'm loving this just as much as I did when I first got this again.

I think this is a good deal better than Carriers of Dust tbh. The 20 minute track is really boring on that album imo, but the rest are really good. This is better overall.
