Probably the truest statement I've ever made actually. It's far more interesting than anything else on that album. It's strongly reminiscent of the better moments on here actually, especially the acoustic guitar parts.

I don't get the hate that this album seems to get at times. This seriously has some of the best riffs and sections that Mikael have ever written. Hessian Peel, Hex Omega, Heir Apparent, Lotus Eater, theyr'e all defining Opeth songs imo.
