Sorry about that, I was just testing to see if I was logged on
But any who, most likely against popular opinion, I must say that I like this album much more than elephant. I mean elephant had it's moments, but the majority of the disc felt like filler songs. Ex. "the air near my fingers", "hypnotize", "Girl you have no faith in Medicine". Don't get me wrong though, there good songs, but they have too much of a last minute feel.
Where in Get behind me satan every song his so different and unique, it gives off the quality of somewhat of a masterpiece. I'm not saying that little ghost is the next "stairway" but when the cd itself, is so incredibly ecclectic, one just wonders "was he out of his mind, or is he a genius".

This album suprised me the first time I heard it, not like any White Stripes album I have heard. First one I bought.

White stripes use to be good but now there crap! this albulm proves it as they havent changed anyfin about themselves. You need to evolve in life to suceed. And its evident that the white stripes havent.

Oh, I get it. They completely change their sound, but they haven't progressed a bit. Heaven forbid they actually evolve while changing themselves.
Good game.

This is one of my favourite albums by them yet. MY DOORBELL RULES!!!!

I'm not a huge fan of this album. I think it crosses the line between interesting and confounding. It’s got some good tracks like “Denial Twist” but a good deal of it is just plain bizarre. They don’t have much technicality, and I respect them for that, but if the music is so experimental that it stops being fun to listen to they’re taking it too far.

i loved the white stripes until i heard this piece of crap

I believe the White Stripes are my most listened-to band at the moment. Even though their drums sound all the same..all the time, it is simple yet unique. And Meg portrait's that effectively. And Jack's voice, boy oh boy, i love this man. Very talented in my opinion. His voice has a certain edge, but a cool vibe. And this album, has some cool catchy tunes. This Message Edited On 08.15.06

I do believe that this album portraits a wicked sound. Even though Meg's drumming skills sound closely related, all the time, it's simple and unique, and makes this album what it truely is. And Jack's voice is truely amazing, and god, I love this man. They are both truely unique people, do don't diss them, they have a good soundThis Message Edited On 08.15.06

I actually love The Nurse. I think it's a great track. The lyrics form a great story and the heavy guitar and drum interludes are genius. And those piano runs... So fucked up, but such a great track. I love Forever for Her (Is Over For Me) too. I'd say Take, Take, Take is probably the best song on here and probably one of the best Stripes songs too.

If by best you mean worst, yeah sure.

I like the album, it's pretty good. I have a love/hate with the White Stripes though. I usually can't listen to any of their songs more than a few times before I get sick of them.
