Your Time Has Come doesn't sound like Cochise to me at all, they have a similar "Hard-rock-album-opening" feel to them. but overall its easy to see them as completly different songs. Plus, Your Time Has Come had a way better, more creative solo than Cochise. BTW, Show Me How To Live has the worst solo in the history of ever, Tom could do so much better.

OMG! That's exactly what I thought when I first heard this! It is practically identical.

Actually, the main riff to "Your Time Has Come" is very similar to "Cochise"........because while playing "Cochise," I figured out "Your Time Has Come"......and the only difference being a few added noted and minus a few hammer ons.....despite that, I still really like both songs.....regardless of how similar the riffs are, the songs each have their own things that show the differences between the two (i.e. the solo in "Your Time Has Come" and the bridge and intro in "Cochise").

Yeah, but it's still similar (read 'same') to Bad Seed, regardless.

I don't listen to this album much, but the solo on 'Your Time Has Come' is incredible

This album really changed my mind about Audioslave-

When I had recieved their first album, I thought it was horrible, a few standout songs here and there but it bored me so quickly.

The first time I listened to this, there were many great songs and I just listened to it over and over again. I think I got around to listening to it 7 or more times, before I just listened to it every once in awhile. I enjoyed the album a lot, and I say it's much better than their first.

Soundgarden and Rage were both much better than Audioslave.

Man, I just don't get it.

Rage Against the Machine (awesome) + Soundgarden (even more awesomness) = this crap.

I bought both this and the debut, and I liked both for about a week. And then I realized that it's not good. Cornell's singing just isn't what it used to be. Brad Wilk has always been.... that drummer. He does nothing special. Cummerford is alright I guess, and then there's Tom Morello, supposedly the "Father of Effects." He should stick to basic distortion and wah, because whenever he turns on something different it's just annoying.

Don't get me wrong, they're all pretty talented musicians (exception: Brad), and the bands that they come from are amazing. Well, I'm done ranting about Audioslave. At least their logo is cool...

So, just to get this straight...RATM were awesome and amazing, even though Brad isn't a talented musician and Timmy C wasn't anything much, and even though Tom is annoying whenever he indulges his whammy tendencies....?
So, what, basically you liked Zach and that was it?

the Your Time Has Come riff is the same (except for maybe 1 note) as the Bad Seed riff

I really hope this was purely coincidental because tom is my fav guitarist and is very originalThis Message Edited On 06.14.06

This album was the 2nd best of 2005 (behind The Stripes album), and a true classic. Nothing generic about it, and with great diversity throughout the album. The first album gets a 3/5, 3.5/5 for me, but this one does everything better. The best mainstream rock band out their today.

I liked it . 4/5. doesnt remind me is a grat song and its iis so easy to play. put youll never memorize toms solos. i just improve a crazy solo in E.

on a not but still related note, tell me why tom morello plays his guitars with the strap so tight that the guitar is practically up to his chin.

Mediocre release for a band that had my hopes held high after their debut. The singles are about the only thing worth your time here.
