Totally fair man, stuff like Obscura is super fucking weird so it's a little difficult to enjoy for some I would imagine. As for the style trending there's some truth to that in that a lot of bands want to be Gorguts but none can truly attain the (in my opinion) perfect blend of something weird and alien yet well crafted.
