I honestly don't know for sure, but I think it's got to do with the vocalist Santos focusing on two bands at once (he also fronts the metalcore band Silent Civilian, don't know if you've heard of them) and doing a bad job of splitting time haha.

I agree with this review. Spineshank should not have broken up with after this album as it was obviously their best. Even though it isn't as heavy as the previous two it is still heavy enough and delivers some nice clean vocals as well. This cd is really a must have for the collection if you like music of this type.

It was dumb for this band to split up because of music differences after this album they were really on to something! Only to come back almost 10 years later and make an album from what I hear is pretty lousy and unwanted. I haven't listened to it and I doubt I will because of their 9 year hiatus.

Smothered is an awesome song. I should probably listen to the rest of the album at some point.

I don't know who handles the drumming in Spineshank, but the dude kills and makes them so intense. I saw them in '01 and they blew the two subsequent bands (Soil and Adema lmao) off the fucking stage.

Yeah this band has some great jams
I really dig that Soil record "Scars" whenever I'm in the mood for some wannabe tough-guy biker jacket hard rock
but Adema has always been the worst thing ever

Sounds like a solid soundtrack
This isn't anything groundbreaking, just tons of fun

Fallback is a great mogul-carving track. Definitely good to cut to the chase with music sometimes.

Still love this album to this day, one band I wish I got to see live.
