It's worth it if you like 3 minute pop songs, and/or enjoy playing simple songs with a band.

This cd is awesome. Although I've got to say In Utero is much better.

I still never understand when people say that Bleach and In Utero are better than this album. This is clearly the best set of songs Cobain ever wrote. He hadn't quite found his knack on Bleach and In Utero contained a lot of intentional squalling and dissonance that didn't have much direction. Still a great album, but this is definitive and necessary Nirvana.

Although not the masterpiece that everyone once made it out to be, this is still an excellent grunge/hard rock album with few blemishes.

Wow......I mean, I try to respect everyone's opinion, but...why is everyone so harsh about this album? Really, if Iai thinks this deserves a 1.5, what would he think of, say, Raditude? -5.0? Don't kid yourselves, people, this album is good. No denying it. I dare you to listen to "Territorial Pissings" or "Breed" and tell me you don't love it. I dare you.

People are harsh towards this because its such a popular, overplayed album. Some of the non-hits
appear as throwaway, very simple songs, although I enjoy them. Some people here bash it because they
think hating on Nirvana will make them appear cool or something. We shall refer to these people as
cocksuckers. Thankfully there aren't too many of those around here, although there is a few.

I still don't get why people consider this "pop". Bull. Compare "Smells Like Teen Spirit" to, say, anything Blondie, Duran Duran, etc. wrote. They're nothing alike. "Pop" implies simple music with upbeat instrumentals and lyrics about partying, fashion, girlfriends, crap like that. "Teen Spirit" has none of those qualities. The poppiest song here is "On a Plain", and that song is still rather dark.

The whole record is simple and catchy. The focus is on hooks. Cobain would've been the first to call
it pop.

stop posting bullshit

all your comments lead me to believe that you know nothing about music
