everything boards of canada does is based around nostalgia, this album is warm, pleasant nostalgia whereas geogaddi is more somber, contemplative nostalgia

Their music has a playful childlike thing going on with some of their samples, but the image I get is always terrifying. Bizarre faceless children who are long dead or were actually clones or never really existed... or something. Stuff like Devil is in the Details and Colour of the Fire freak me the fuck out
