I’ve always loved it tbh.
Loud, Brash and I don’t care what anybody says it rocks like a good’un.
I wasn’t really a fan of the first two albums (of course I had them and was swept up a bit in the whole mania back in the day) but this one really brought it all home for me. I still listen to it on occasion and dig it for what it is.

There’s also MASSIVE nostalgia attached to it. This album came out in the best year ever. pubs, mates, birds, amazing albums and carefree days.

its pretty sweet to just sit and get engrossed in it; surprisingly hypnotic for somethin so dry and barebones. can imagine gettin baked outta my mind and sittin next to a lover and just like losin reality listenin to that version.
also rowbro got me thinkin about alternate tracklist for Be Here Now and this would be mine:
D'You Know What I Mean?
My Big Mouth
Stand By Me
Going Nowhere
I Hope, I Think, I Know
The Girl in the Dirty Shirt
Stay Young [or possibly put this one after Be Here Now]
Don't Go Away
Be Here Now
[maybe Flashbax]
All Around the World
It's Gettin' Better (Man!!)
[no reprise fuck dat shit]
i love the album so i wouldnt change much except take out two tracks and put two far superior b-sides in
like i said on the last page, dat tracklist + D'You Know rethink-style production and this coulda been the glorious trilogy closer that this band's discog deserved. i wouldnt have even cut any of the song lengths down.

Flashbax has to make an appearance

Looking at this review almost makes me choke to death off my saliva from my own laughter. I think the original reviewer gave this a 2.0! id like him to reconsider his rating. My god what an excellent album full off singles and great fillers, maybe these were missed by MED but unless you deaf this is one of Oasis best album , yes they lived up to the hype and delivered in spades, No it did not reach the heights of the 2 previous albums but weirdly i pick this album over morning glory on occasions , yeah seriously the album is very good , i cant pick it over DM tho because Columbia is on there !!

agreed with this, wasnt as good as the first two but still a worthy final instalment in the "chasing the sun" trilogy as it is now known

I dig the tracklist dim. I would've kept the reprise and cut Gettin Better, and snuck in The Fame instead of Flashbax but yeah good stuff
Stay Young is an all timer

The real question is which album has more guitar overdubs, this, or Siamese Dream?
