I love this album's dark tone. It fits my current dark mood. Album rules.

Usually I don't listen to The Roots, but this was brilliant. I hope to get more of their albums.

Album cover looks like a Thrash Metal demo from the early 80's.

Saigon's verse on Criminal is great. I wish his album would finally come out.

this review actually makes me want to check this album out... even though I've always been kind of blah about the Roots, I really enjoy dark/dense hiphop.

anyway, I noticed a few errors grammatically in the review, and I thought this was a bit ambiguous: "there’s a notable separation in style between the bass and drums, with the former feeling fatter and more digitized than ever with ?uestlove’s kit exuding the energy and youthfulness of their earlier work." does this mean that the bass is fatter and more digitized, and the drums more energetic? because at first it read something different to me...
