Quite frankly I think the Claudio influence is rather apparent, either way the vocals

are nice on this disc. A couple shining moments on Devices, Believe, Salus, the

Evidence.. This Message Edited On 09.15.08

"The members of Akissforjersey are not your typical Christians, they all have long hair, rock out, and be a band like Akissforjersey. Yet, they still have faith and a positive message"-

yea again gotta rip on you for that ha that is actually pretty typical for christians nowadays.

I definitely see the influences of both claudio & johnny craig.

Personally i see a lot of Jonny; sounds a lot like his stuff back when he was in DGD.

-Zach has a few vocal styles he can choose from including a whisper-esqe style found on “Devices”. The non-whiny screams are really good while the whiny screams are decent at best. Zach has revealed that The Book of Revelations inspires most of the lyrics on this album.-

This sounds like you have some bias about screams.. just sayin.

And it seems like ending the paragraph with that is a little awkward. That sentence could have been left out entirely, or possibly turned into a seperate paragraph on its own.

something like: not only has his voice matured, but the songwriting as well. Zach has revealed that The Book of Revelations inspires most of the lyrics on this album.....

just a pointer? still didn't neg!

Good review. Only problem in my opinion is that you didn't seem to do enough justice to Zach Dawson's voice. I personally rank him at the top, yes above Jonny Craig and Tyler Carter, and Kellin Quinn. Should have mentioned the insane range he exhibits during Devices, when was the last time you heard someone reach the note he does at the end of that song? His growls/screams are also beastly, a truly talented vocalist.

Ahh, reminds me of high school. This album has its really awesome moments, yet it also has its very boring and generic moments. I LOVE ""Salus Saus Extanderealas Concedit"
