Man, good review. You made me checked them out and I must admit it's very good. I like a lot CC, Autopsy, Obituary and other brutal dm bands but you're right this bands and the way they play stands out. It's not just "throw in your face" type of DM. Got my pos.

Not that different to 'Engineering the dead' or indeed the band's debut, yet the ferocity and brutality have been exhausted on this album, so it seems. The disturbing narratives that open some of the songs here still work very well, and the guitar work never seems to let up on its technical precision. Perhaps their strongest album to date.

I can't decide if this is grindy or if it's pure brutal death metal

I don't think it's deathgrind, I re-listened a bit and the only real justification for it being grind is that it has blast beats. This is just BDM.

Yeah, this is still one carnivorous beast of an album. The production most definitely suits the meaty, unrestrained craftsmanship displayed by the guitarists, as well as Svencho's gutturals. Pretty iconic cover art, too.

The production on this is fucking godly, easily best Aborted album.

Sven is an absolute monster.

He could crush boulders with his voice alone.

Shit...I could swear my hair was static raising rn with T/t

Happens often with Aborted, not because is gore or dark in any way (its actually fun)...but because the riffs and solos simply do that to the brain in awesomeness lol
