yeah i think jamming this last in my r.e.m. voyage killed any shot of me being able to get into it (for a while i considered just never spinning it at all lmao). there was some potential here but it got compleeeetely overcooked. sounds like they were initially planning to make an album in the style of animal/bad day but doing those songs for the in time comp kinda took the momentum out of them making this and it j got overworked and overworked



kinda wish i jammed this band more when i was younger i have barely any nostalgia for em lol only recently got around to most of their stuff and what i did jam when i was younger didnt impress me. super glad i went back to them at all tho they are an outstanding outstanding band
