I feel like this entire album is a letdown after how amazing 'Knives' is. It's like a handful of 3/5 tracks following a 5/5 track.

I'd actually say Knives is the weakest of the first EIGHT songs

Need to give it another listen soon, for sure. But I remember being so pumped after 'Knives', preparing myself for an easy 4+, and no subsequent song caught me like that one did.

Album is slipknot if clownface grew up on the Shankhill Road and was glassed in the face while dildonoses’ gaff was petrol-bombed causing a severe maiming to pigfaces gran.

sweet stuff

was surprised not to see a thrash tag for this band, unless it's just this album or something. half this stuff reminds me of Testament, Suicidal Tendencies, and it's even Mercyful Fate-esque in songs like Lunacy Booth. Megadeth vibes in the opener too, list goes on and on...

I smoked the truth

The Megadeth comparison really only applies for ten seconds in the opener but there are plenty of Testament or Pantera-esque moments throughout. How are you not getting this vibe lol

The Pantera and Testament vibes just come from the fact that these guys dipped into a lot of Alternative stuff and which prominently feature Groove riffs.

This band is definitely better than Pantera are and most of the bands on the similar artists page make far more sense to compare to.

It’s the vocals that are reminding me of some classic 80s/90s thrash. I’m sure the other comparisons make more sense but I haven’t heard the majority of those *shrugs*

Either way, this is awesome and I dig the variety here

I have never heard "Knives" and thought of Megadeth. I think more of Big Black than Megadeth.

OKAY. Y’all can get off my dick now, lol

It was just certain parts with the vocals and guitars. As a whole I can see how different/unique it is
