Well for me Symbolic just hypnotize me everytime i hear it ....its just give me a feeling that i never felt with any album i heard in my life i have all Death albums and everytime i pick symbolic to hear it always send me chills down my spine its not just m/ to me its like a very personal experience to me

tbh a lot of the recent times i've jammed symbolic i've gotten a bit bored halfway through and decided to put on something with a bit more balls like this or human or itp
also i have the remaster and i really really hate the remastering on that alb

hmm i mean this album is pretty unique, tons of bands were influenced by/ tried to copy them but no one could, not even morbid angel themselves, this album is an enigma
however, possessed - seven churches comes to mind, it was a large influence on this album/band
also i recommend relistening to that grotesque album if you want something from a similar realm

death- scream bloody gore
autopsy - severed survival
