What are you talking about? I know how to play like every song on this album and there aren't any "3chord songs"

I'm talking about the songs that are basically made up of 3 chords like Violence and Down.

Violence is 4, but every other song on the album is over 10. Do you play guitar? because if you don't you fighting a sniper with a sword if you get my drift.

Ohh I used to really like this band! I don't mind listening to some of their music every now and then, but I'm more of a Hard Rock/Metal guy now.

the guitar riffs are just boring and pointless.

On this album? You jest! I actually quite like the guitars on this record, very Cure-esque. Well, for pop punk at least

I agree with Iluvatar 100%.

usaully when pick up guitar you stop likeing this childish music and build up more of a love for classic rock

Maybe for you. Before I played anything I listened to Classic Rock. Thats what made me play music. Once I did play music though I got into other kinds of music, Indie, Punk and Hip-Hop for example. Just because you got into classic music afterwards doesn't mean other people will.

Whats up with insulting his playing skills though? Plenty of good guitarists listen to this kind of music. This Message Edited On 04.11.06

i hate this record, their other records are better than this one, it is boring and it seems to just be random guitar powerchards and singing on the spot. 0.2/5This Message Edited On 04.21.06

umm, this album was actually very good. I own TOYPAJ and my friend let me borrow this and I will admit that this was a ton better.
All of This was good with Robert Smith. Always was a great song and the last song (i forget the title but know it was extremely long for a Blink song) was so good.

my two cents

i would consider myself a hardcore blink-182 fan

now, the first song i ever heard by them was all the small things. i loved the song, ive always loved the song. the first album i ever bought by them was Self-Titled. ill tell you, it brought a whole new perspective to my life. it inspired me more than anything else in life. i love the album; im not afraid to say it.

since then ive bought every single one of their albums besides enema strikes back. I love every single bit of every single song by them. just be open minded about it. you can be in love with buddha or cheshire cat and still like self-titled.

also to clear a few things up, they did NOT play this album as well live, compared to their others. its not an opinion, its a fact.

by 3-chords, he most likely means very very simple riffs, like in the ramones. he doesnt literally mean 3 chords.

and they broke up, unless they become friends again. if you look around the internet closely youll see that mar and tom hate each other and havent talked in well over a year

my 2 cents
