Well at that time I really didn't like that much metalcore. I still don't tbh, but the news of the new album made me want to hear some shit from them again and I loved what I heard. Good thing is, I'm going to hear this whole thing very soon.

Unfortunately, the album is pretty crappy so far a couple songs in. Way too poppy, and vocals need more curve balls and split fingers. Title track is ace, cant wait for the tracks with the hammer dulcimer, I like that instrument.

I didn't actually listen to any of the ones from the new album. I just saw the news, but I went straight for the stuff from this album.

I tried listening to this while jogging earlier but it didnt hit me like it usually does so I put on Suidakras Crogacht. This is still a great album though.

Nice review Balls, you sum up the sound here nicely. I was thinking while I was listening that they'd gone a little In Flames on me, but still kept the celtic influence in there. I still love this band though, still have to hear their newest.

Their being a Swiss band producing 'Celtic' music seems to be disturbing some staff. Wow. What a staff that can't accept that music can be universial. What a dumb staff. Fuck off.

Well whichever staff that was doesn't really know anything about history, seeing as the Helvetian Celts lived in what is now Switzerland at one stage in history.

Good album. All of the heavy songs sound a bit too similiar, though, in my opinion.

Standouts being Gray Sublime Archon, Bloodstained Ground, and Inis Mona.

rofl at Kill's comment.

You must be fat and have a beard in order to truly appreciate metal.

Best folk metal band out there right now, at least that I've heard, right up there with Finntroll, Primordial, and Korpiklaani.

Best tracks are Inis Mona, Calling the Rain, and Elembivos

Yeah, looking back on that...stupid comment. Nowhere near "best folk metal band" I was high on that album at the time hehe.

Still give it a solid 4 though.
