just military stuff, but then I thought about it and now am very curious as to why there's military there in the first place, let alone other random tidbits

There have been American bases there since WWII. Most of them shut down after the war, but we kept a few (there's American bases all through Europe too). There are some interesting things there too, things I can't talk about ;)

Was a bit disappointed by this, it's no where near as good as the new album.

I like it as much as the new one, but for different reasons. This one is catchier and more upbeat.
