bit of a bleak review....I like all the songs on this album, but the songs on the first disk all should have been six minutes, why the hell does glass prison have to be 15 mins!

I am absolutely crazy about The Glass Prison. It's my favorite Dream Theater song.

after glass prision it bored me and i turned my cd player off...
for one glass prision has that wanking solo in the beginning that made no sense.
epic can be reached without going over board. this is like trying to watch a trilogy all at once. i might listen to it all...maybe...
but not right now. This Message Edited On 02.13.06

This is DT's second best album, behind Scenes from a Memory.

I noticed that too, but they can't continue to do that. TOT ends decisively
Hah. I guess this was written before Octavarium came out.

IT's a great album, but that's as dar as it goes with me, something about it stops it going further for me. Don't know what because I really like most of the songs if I listen to them seperatly.

Horrible review. No detail at all for the tracks. I didn't learn much of anything.

The Glass Prison = Best Dream Theater Song
Only song i've heard off this album though, but i'm sure nothing else Dream Theater has made can beat it.

glass prison is one of my favorite songs ever, but my favorite part of the album was during overture where they play a symphonic version of war inside my head. its way better than the actual song and sends chills down my spine every time

1. Glass Prison-This song is almost 15 minutes long, it's loud, fast, energetic, your basic metal song. It totally rocks.
