That's definitely one of the best songs off the album. "Iron Tusk," "Megalodon," and "Hearts Alive" are all awesome too. I think the first two minutes of "Hearts Alive" put me in a trance before the heavy guitars came in and woke me up!

Good review until you trashed hearts alive. That song is the epic climax of the album. People are entitled to their own opinion but I just HAVE to say you're completely wrong about that. It isn't a boring drag at all, and from your small critique it just looks like you haven't taken a good listen to the song. For example you attacked it for being repetitive, while the repetition is part of what puts the song on a whole new level, giving it that unique mastodon feel that is unparalleled in the world of music. I mean, how can one listen to Hearts Alive and not feel like they've embarked on an epic musical journey?
