yeah, the three "elephant man" songs that end Remission, Leviathan, and Blood Mountain are definitely epilogues. I enjoy that kind of thing in the right context -- "A Desolation Song" (Agalloch), "The Wanderer" (Emperor), "Kaiku" (Moonsorrow) come to mind.
