hfs40k, bloodhail, i don't love are the 3 tracks that jump out at first, but the real reward is when you start to get into everything else IMO.

and brutebeard ive never been too huge on dali but i always thought that one with the melting clocks that's his most well known (i think) is one of his worst. he has some really interesting stuff though.

I know I'm coming into this way late, but my computer deleted my sign in info when I upgraded my browser. :P So I forgot my password for awhile.

I'm hard pressed to give a 5 on this, but I did anyway. Nothing quite hits me like this album does, besides The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me by Brand New.

Deathconcsiousness is a classic in my opinion. I'll be sure, when I have kids eventually, that they'll hear it.

Same for me, without a doubt.

I'd say The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me is an equally powerful record. The lyrics on that thing hit me hard.

Well I bought The Devil and God... right before I went through a ton of hard crap, my brother almost died, I was sick for a year straight, etc... So, I associate it with that time, and it sorta helped me through it. That's why that album really hits home for me.

Deathconsciousness is just one of those albums that is really deep all the time, everytime though.

most of the copies floating around online had the track names for "deep, deep" and "the future" mixed up.

I'm coming back on here to just say how incredible this album is.

I was driving around and I decided to put this into my car's CD player. Man, listening to this thing when you drive actually makes driving entertaining.

I know most people feel like it's a filler track, but I love A Quick One Before The Eternal Worm Devours Connecticut. It's haunting.

For me, the best song is definitely The Big Gloom.
