The solos on these band's songs aren't usually great but the one in Not Unlike the Waves rules for sure. The guitar at around 3:50 is also incredible.

These guys should just kiss and make up. The chemistry they had together in Agalloch was great. Terrible that they threw it all away.

I prefer this record to the mantle but the only thing dragging down is the just pure noise shit with part 3 of Our Fortress is burning. Fire above ice below is phenomonal

Great record tbh, underrated.

Mantle is the only one I find meh.

Always thought I should dig this band more than I do tbh.

Yeah man, Marrow is definitely underrated. I don't think some people appreciated the analog production/darker vibe, but I just love the atmosphere on it. Ashes will always be my favorite, but honestly I like Marrow as much or more than the Mantle.

Marrow >> Mantle yes yes, that production is perf and one of the only interesting decisions this band ever made probably

Marrow is dope, probably my favourite. Black Lake Nidstang is unreal.

Nice to see more people appreciating Marrow these days, it still stands as my fave Agalloch. This is a close 2nd.

Marrow has some of their best stuff but then some stuff that bores me to tears

Marrow was a bit overhated for some reason. Nowhere near best Agalloch but I have enjoyed every spin but then again I love everything by this band.

As corny as that vocal part in black lake nidstang is, its still my favorite part of the song

Marrow is a cool album, I should listen to it more. Only Agalloch I ever didn't like much was Serpent, but I haven't listened to that in years so it might be time to re-evaluate

I never jammed Marrow properly, but enjoyed a couple of songs from what I remember. Production is muddy tbh, unlike the production here
