I was about to say no, but you're right, midway through you can see a fretless for a second. But when they're playing all together, it's clearly a fretted one. Music video trickery, I think - it definitely sounds like a fretted bass.

eh so much is buried under hi-gain settings and lo-mid heavy productions that I feel like if it most DM had the production of this, it'd come across as so loose and wonky
