Most accessible, but also best (2).
I’d heard ASTNS, ToG and TSIB before this one.

So i had a hard time getting into Neurosis, but i've been told that this is easy to get into.
May try this out soonish.
Panopticon is among my favorite records, and it has been quite tough to find comparable records in terms of the overall atmosphere and the "heavyness only in climaxes" approach.
Cult of Luna has some records like this, Amenra is great too, though mostly more on the sludgy side.
Can anyone rec me post metal artists, which focus more on drawn out atmospheric soundscapes? Preferably with sparse (harsh and or clean, idk) vocals?

Have you tried Mouth of the Architect, ‘Quietly’ might be up your alley.
Blindead’s ‘Affliction’ comes highly recommended as well and fits most of your criteria.

Heard of Mouth of the Architect, never heard of Blindead. Thanks!
