That is exactly what happened to me during Dillinger. It was my first time crowdsurfing too. I was up for about 2 seconds when i was dropped in the pit. I landed on my feet like a cat though and moshed like a mother fucker. During Carrion(of Parkway) my friends pushed me into the pit and I was not in the mood, plus there was no action where I was thrown. I had never been so confused of what to do in my life.



I just jumped into the sides a few times.

I also had a bad circle pit experience at my first parkway show (which was my first concert). I got started on by some hardcore scenekids because I had knocked two over when they were 'dancing' and had created a domino effect. So I ran away and just jumped into the crowd, which unfortunately fell apart as my 75 kilo body landed on them, and I met the cold, hard floor.

My god, I love Siren's Song, the rest of the album is pretty average though.

I was at a show of theirs bck in '04 and I remember it well, because it was the first time I saw them. First song starts and some maniac (whom I later find out was a roadie or sorts) climbs the speaker stack and flings himself headfirst into a crowd of only 20 people...whom split upon seeing the incoming. The impact was impressive, if only for the human head bouncing on carpet.

Old stuff is better than new, but they play mostly new stuff live and its still fine. They end with Romance is Dead which is insane, but other than that I think they only played one or two other old songs.



During the second song of their set, someone came flying overhead and me and my group helped fling him over the crowd. After I pushed him I saw a glimpse of what the kid looked like, and it was my friend Ben. Some random guys picked him up and threw him over. It was sick.

I feel like going nuts in a mosh now. I know what you mean about Romance is Dead DWitt, it goes insane when they play that song.

It's undergone many changes from when I first posted it. I think it first was a 3.5, and a lot of the actual content was different. It's hardly the same review it was a few months ago.

I don't hate scenekids, I have plenty of friends who are into the whole scene thing. And I never said I hated hardcore, I just hate crappy hardcore. And I have never had a bad experience with dancers and what-not either. Try not to make too many assumptions about me, you'll most likely be wrong.
