Be Sensible and Always Be are among my favourite songs of their catalogue. They stand above all the rest of this "era" of the band. Dizzy is great too, but doesn't connect with me quite as much as the other two. I agree with Beautiful Is feeling similar to IB. Wouldn't surprise me if there was some influence there. Jim was playing Beautiful Is on his acoustic tour just before they went into the studio to record IB

I think I remember an interview a while ago where Jim expressed his soft spot for Beautiful Is. I always like having an insight into what songs the band favour. For example Zach loves Be Sensible but thinks Gotta Be Somebody's Blues is among their best works.

Album is fine I guess. Doesn't make me feel sad. Doesn't make me feel happy. Some catchy tunes with little to no emotional payoff. Probably their most "average" album in my opinion, just a whole load of OK.

I generally have skipped over Chase this Light through Damage. I did check out Invented a few years back and I remember enjoying it.
