Was just visiting the university library which is not too far away. They have three shelves of dusty books by and about Blake. What a treasure.

I remember visiting the local cd-shop (those days...) back in 1998 when i was 15 years old and the owner/salesman, who was mainly passing me europower-prog stuff, gave me that, stating that it was "melodic black metal, you will like it". I really liked some black metal bands like Rotting Christ, Emperor and Cradle of Filth but had no further clue. I bought it just because it was a double album and i'd pay the same for a single cd, you know what i mean, lol. Anyway, when i gave it the first spin on my Aiwa 5-cd/cassette player (those hi-fies with lights everywhere, even IN the cassette receiver) i went "man, he gave me the wrong album, what the f..k are those electronics buzzing my ears..." but i didn't want to walk another hour to go and change it. So, to pay honor to my hard earned pennys, i pushed myself to listen and like that crap. And there you go, i listened to it and i listened to it and i listened to it... And click! That was the one that really made me never give up an album by the first listen. At least for some years, until St. Anger was released.
