Ugh that shit is the ultimate darkness listening album. I shut all the lights, lay down and just think.

Their second album Codename: Dustsucker is amazing too, much darker and weirder with more electronic influence

I'll have to check that out too. & I get what you mean Mongi - I listened to Hex on an 11pm drive last night and it fit the vibe perfectly.

Finally had the time to check this out after I only knew Kenotic.

I want to have a walk in the forest nearby soon, and it's cold and this album would be perfect to listen to.

Btw the Hex album is perfect for december, when it's dark, or rainy. Very melancholic I could only listen to that album when it's november and december. It doesn't have the same effect in spring and summer.

@budgie: Not for me, hot summer beach is nothing I would like to think of. Maybe a cold stormy day at a beach in Scotland would be great!

2. God Send Us A Signal

3. ...Like Starlight Into Day

Oh yea album is about as essential as can be but I've been so attached to Shadows lately. And the track Without Form And Void!

The production on shadows is far superior, it also feels a lot more like an album than a collection of beautiful melodies

I just love that tons of their traditional post rock/shoe gaze tracks are on there like Breathturn, Andalusia, The Backward Step, Still Secrets Remaining and Gemini’s In The Country.
