you've never heard of bass/drum music?
To be honest, I've never heard of a band that was just a guy on the bass and the drums, if thats what you mean by bass/drum music.

yeah listen to Kage, he know what he's talking about when it comes to Om. They're definitely becoming one of my favorite bands and I have to say that htis one definitely tops Variations on a Theme, but I still like Conference of the Birds more than this by quite a bit. At Giza is the perfect song.

At Giza is the perfect song, When the Distortion clicks in I crack a smile every time! But the second track on Conference of the birds isn't quite so great.
All together this album is just as good if not better though.

pretty good stuff... though very repetitive...

i really like this album

Though I think this lacks some of the raw energy that Variations on a Theme has, it still features some very entrancing songs that come across very well thanks to Steve Albini's wonderful production and Al's killer bass tones. A good album to just tune out to.

I'd love to see these guys, Clutch, High on Fire, Earth, Dozer, and numerous other fantastic bands on a tour together.
