Really? I think Chad Grey's range is fucking awesome here. He's not too great of a vocalist anymore, but I think he sounds pretty intense here and jumps between styles pretty seamlessly.
Damn haters, the lot of ya

"Eh I can understand that but I have a soft spot for it. Dig and Death Blooms are still some of my fav songs ever."
I use to love Dig but it became so overplayed by the point that it's easily my least favorite song here. Death Blooms is still a top tier jam though

Death Blooms, Severed, Prod, and Pharmacopia are the only songs I consistently come back to. I haven't jammed the album in full in quite a while.

Perfect length for me. No filler. The closest is Under my Skin but even that is pretty solid.

Honestly works really well as a full album experience, and I didn't think it still would 18 years later.

Yeah this is one of those albums where it’s best listened from beginning to end in one sitting, transitions and all. It really is an experience.

Fuck this really still rules. Also never really noticed back in the day but there are for sure some Focus era Cynic type riffs all throughout this album.

I honestly got rid of all the interludes pretty quickly, I thought they were a waste of time. I definitely want to jam the whole thing from start to finish again at some point considering this was their breakthrough and swan song at the same time sadly.
