Fucking same guyman I hadn't bought tickets just yet but I requested off work and made plans and everything.

Really hope they still go through with playing TGM in full. The band is reaching the point where they have so much material they can only fit like one song from each album (if any) in their setlists.

They tour so often though that they basically have a completely different setlist for every tour, excluding the encore which is usually White Walls or Selkies or Silent Flight Parliament from what I understand.

Last year when I saw them in Omaha the show nearly got snowed out and only like 200 people showed up. They did the intro to selkies for shits and gigs and then played condemned to the gallows for an encore.

They also did sun of nothing for an encore like 7 years ago when I saw them in New York.

you right you right

According to setlistfm they've played nearly 100 shows a year almost every year since the silent circus. Crazy that Tommy's vocals are still so great after so much use.

Yeah they're proper road warriors. Tommy's health is probably because of his vegan superpowers. lol

I remember when I got to have a chat with Dustie after a show, he was so chill.

Literally told him how it took me years to get into their music, he was like 'yeah, we get that alot'.

Still got the guitar pick he gave me as well, it's so small and I have no idea how he plays with it haha.

I have no idea, some people claim that some people are just born a certain way, but i'd like to believe that we are born 'fresh' or 'plain' & our environment/home shapes us, but like I said, I have no idea

Colors far better than their other albums, Alaska and Corcus are 1.5 compared to it, and dont get started on recent material

the problem with this band is their insistence on filling the space between all of their actual creative or melodic ideas with the most mind numbingly boring chugging riffs. and that shit goes on forever. plus sticking in those “quirky” on the nose scale runs or few second joke passages that plagued a lot of mathy bands in the 00s, didn’t age well
