Double Vision Quest doesn't get enough love, I think that's my fav POI song.

having a proper audio setup has made me enjoy certain music so much better now. this is just so immersive but laid back, hearing sounds i never head before either, i urge everyone to get a decent set of headphones!

Never heard Minus The Bear, but want to give them a try. Based on my ratings etc. would I like them and where would be the best place to start?

This one, it's easily their best record IMO. Then get Beer Commercials EP, Menos El Oso and HRP.

I've been listening to this for most of today. It's damn good .

Very different from what I usually listen to. Will have give it a few more plays before I rate though.

The best way to describe this album is that the lyrics and vocals are just light enough to put the focus on the incredible guitar playing (with tons of effects). The closer Lotus hopefully shows a bit of a different direction they will attempt in their next album. They seem to be a little too mature now for the sound and subjects in their earlier albums.

Oh I'm listening while When we escape slowly transforms to White mystery. These two could've gone to the highest hights with that flowing feeling attached to them. BUT... oh why... heading towards the end they both become so repetitive.

White Mystery, Throwin' Shapes and When We Escape are awesome songs. However, I found the rest of the album to be fairly boring. Dr L'Ling in particular was far too long for how little it gives.

I gotta lower that rating. The album has lost its edge on me.
