not that many, but boy they are vocal about it lol
my fav berlin 3 is lodger, which is by far the least berlin-esque of the 3.

Lodger is awesome yeah, it's my least favourite overall of the 'Berlin 3' but I prefer it to some of his other 'classic' records.

Fave Bowie song is ‘Five Years,
Used to be ‘Always Crashing in the Same Car’ which I’ve seen described as a ‘poor man’s ‘Heroes’ - I prefer it though
I really like ‘Stay’ off this one, that’s top 10 for me

I need to hear the rest of the classic Bowie albums, this and Ziggy are so good.

Once you get to knowing about ten of his albums well, then it all opens up with Bowie
Early on listening to Bowie I wasn’t sure he’d become an all time favourite of mine
Even his derided ‘90s work you can really get lost in, thirty or so choice cuts
Same with his ‘80s stuff

I actually got into Bowie very slowly album by album over 12 or so years
Discovery order went: Outside (so starting ‘95) - Earthling - Low - Hunk Dory - Scary Monsters - Lodger...then I forget

Three I found slightly disappointing compared to reputation were: Diamond Dogs, Heroes and The Man Who Sold the World

I need to do 'round 2' of Bowie next year, thought 10 albums was enough for this year, listened to A LOT of Bowie recently. Here's where I'm at currently, rough ranking included...
Station to Station
Low
Aladdin Sane
Lodger
Ziggy
Scary Monsters
Blackstar
The Man Who Saved the World
Heroes
Hunky Dory

I love Heroes and Man Who is great too
Diamond Dogs is his worst 70s album unless you count Pin Ups

Man Who is too lumpen ‘70shard Rock for me but people say it’s solid within the genre
I’m not even certain about that.
Heroes has a good atmosphere and half the tracks live up to album billing

Diamond Dogs is worth it for "Sweet Thing" alone

Never read the featured review of a classic on Sputnik - my eyes are bleeding and my brain is melting, a very poor and frequently contradictory/nonsensical analysis

@Demon: You've heard the best he has to offer, so everything else is going to vary wildly in quality. There are still gems such as Outside/Heathen/The Next Day but also absolute slogs like Tonight/Never Light Me Down/Hours

I do often wonder why the user TVC15 named himself after the least amazing track on this album, guess this is possibly a moot point. It’s not a great username though, would anyone bat an eyelid at ‘Station to Station’ or anything containing ‘wild wing wind’ etc. You could even make a play on it somehow.
Troubling.

isn't there a user called golden years?
anyway, Wingonaword would be a good username.

TVC15 is an incredible track. Def not the worst here, though this certainly has no 'bad' tracks, so picking a worst would be neigh impossible. Maybe 'Word on a Wing' if I were forced to pick.
'Station to Station' and 'Stay' are my top 2 though, the former being one of my favorite Bowie tracks overall, honestly.
Been contemplating bumping this to a straight 5.0, it's so goddamn good. Definitely my third favorite Bowie behind Low and Hunky Dory.

t/t is a hard 5/5 yeah, but man I love ‘Word on a Wing’ - wonder what the original is like? This is my fave Bowie from the 10 or so that I’ve heard, so it’s nitpicking, like you say.
