I'd rather them stick with this style because i hate deathcore. The only deathcore band worth listening to is Suicide Silence.

I enjoy pig squeels and some breakdowns as well, just not that many in one 6 song album (not counting the intro)

I like Knee Deep, just because of how awesome it is like the third time he says Dear father I'll be waiting I saved you a seat in hell.

well JFAC got quite popular in the whole "MTV2" scene with Genesis...
them dropping any "deathcore" traits has only made them more popular with "mainstream" death metal (note: "mainstream" is up for definition"
personally, i loved Doom jus cause i get a good laugh from it lol

Hahaha mainstream death metal.

"Live from New York, the greatest city in the world, it's the late show with David Letterman! With special guests Billy Crystal! Dustin Hoffman! And music from DEICIDE!"

I don't even think this is worth a 2.5. I'm not typically one to say that Metal Music is "Just Noise" but any song by this band, I would describe like that. There's no congruity between any of the instruments and the "Songs" are just a collection of heavy riff after heavy riff after heavy riff, then a Pinched Harmonic, and now its faster, now its a crappy guitar solo that doesn't follow the chord changes (if they're even there). I'm ashamed I bothered to pay attention to them when I saw them Live at Gigantour 2008. If there is anything good i can say about this band it's that the Drummer is far more talented than any other member and that one of the guitar players looks like Kumar from Harold and Kumar go to White Castle.

This isn't noise, it's just generic modern death metal that does nothing to set itself apart from the hordes of bands that sound exactly like this. Some of these songs I'd even say are 'good' but as a whole it's just boring and recycled to all holy hell.

Listening through an entire song on this album is kind of funny because you can pick out which band they ripped off with each phrase lol
