And this band sucks. Cannibal Corpse, Cattle Decapitation, they're all the same. This is one god-awful band, for real. How come "RAWRHKHJHGKIGARYHGDFSSRAAAAAAAAAAAR" is so appealing to everyone nowadays?
disagreed. I like death metal alot. This band is average, though.

I would say Dropped whatever chugging, however, seeing as JFAC obviously do not play in standard tuning.
I've always thought that no matter what the tuning was, the e-string is an umbrella term for the low string.
That's what I've always called it, even in drop-whatever tuning.

wow, I feel like a loner on actually really really like this album, for some reason this album made a lot of sense, and it was smooth, and just soo much better than Doom...maybe im just shocked a band would go away from the scene right when they were getting big. maybe im just giveing them points for having balls.

They definitely progressed as musicians from Doom, but as songwriters they went down the pooper. Every song on Doom, even if it sucked, ex Knee Deep, was still memorable, and even if you didn't like it, it was still not easy to forget.
Entombment of a Machine and The Rising Tide are pretty good songs on Doom, the rest... not so much.

Pig squeals aren't always inhaled (Davy doesn't inhale his), but Despised Icon is terribly generic IMO.
